Their paper has now been accepted in ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces. (Impact Factor – 9.2). This excellent work focuses on using femtosecond laser to densify hydrogels at user-defined locations to generate customized volume diffractive gratings.

Bianca finished her Honors Thesis entitled ‘High-temperature 3D Printing of Stretchable and Tough Hydrogel Structures ‘ – this work was performed under the mentorship of Dr. Kunwar! She is now headed to Boston University to pursue her Masters in Robotics and Autonomous Systems with specialization in Soft Robotics & Medical Robotics.
