Prof. Soman has been named as a “Satish Dhawan Visiting Chair Professor” at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc)

This professorship was created after Prof. Satish Dhawan, who was the chair of the Indian Space Commission from 1972-81. Prof. Soman will deliver lectures in the area of biomaterials and biomanufacturing.
