Today I had the profound privilege of watching three of my PhD students – Arun Poudel, Anna-Blessing Merife, Ph.D., and Zachary J. Geffert, PhD -receive their doctoral hoods, and I couldn’t be more proud. I have watched all of you wrestle with hard questions, push through moments of doubt, and grow into rigorous, courageous scholars. That hood on your shoulders represents who you have become. The world gains three remarkable researchers today. Go make your mark.
