Zheng is invited to present his work in 2019 ECS day at IEEE fellow banquet!

Zheng is awarded with best BMCE department poster presentation and 2nd place on research pitch competition at 2019 ECS Research Day.

Our work “Femtosecond laser induced densification within cell-laden hydrogels results in cellular alignment” has been accepted by the journal of Biofabrication.

Zheng was awarded with First Place Prize at Research Poster Session in 2019 Stevenson Biomaterials Lecture. Congratulations!

Our collaborative paper “Serum-Free Manufacturing of Mesenchymal Stem Cell Tissue Rings Using Human-Induced Pluripotent Stem Cells” with Dr. Zhen Ma has been accepted in Stem Cells International.

Prof. Soman presented a seminar titled, ‘3D printing technology for creating advanced in vitro tissue models, in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). (Sept 27, 2018)

Congratulations to Dave for passing his PhD candidacy exam!

The Soman Lab receives funding through the NIH NIGMS program (R21) to design and build a multiscale fabrication and imaging platform. If successful, this technology can be used for a range of bioscience applications.
